NORTON CHILDREN’S MEDICAL GROUP, AFFILIATED WITH THE UOFL SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, is seeking candidates across a variety of pediatric specialties. The selected candidates will join a dynamic, physician- led medical group dedicated to meeting the needs of children through clinical care, medical education, research and advocacy. Providers cover Norton Children’s Hospital, a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center that includes a 101 bed, Level IV neonatal intensive care unit, dedicated Jennifer Lawrence Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and comprehensive suite of pediatric care services. Providers in each of these positions have access to the University of Louisville’s School of Medicine including clinical research and teaching opportunities. Salary and academic rank commensurate with experience.

Norton Children’s Hospital is verified as a Level I Children’s Surgery Center by the American College of Surgeons Children’s Surgery Verification (ACS CSV) Quality Improvement Program.
The ACS CSV program was developed to improve the quality of children’s surgical care. CSV standards ensure that children needing surgery receive care under a multidisciplinary program with quality improvement and safety processes, data collection and appropriate resources provided to them as patients at the hospital.

About the Novak Center for Children’s Health
The 176,000-square-foot Novak Center for Children’s Health opened in 2018. It was designed to create a better way to deliver health care for the children of Kentucky and the surrounding region. Located in the heart of the UofL Health Sciences campus and close to Norton Children’s Hospital in downtown Louisville, the center is one of the largest and most technically advanced pediatric outpatient centers in the country. It provides the resources and space necessary to offer an integrated health care model, serving as the home of UofL Physicians pediatric specialty clinical practices, lab and radiology services, medical education conference rooms, multidisciplinary spaces and more.
