Lawrenceburg Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Lead Doctor/ Medical Director to join our team. We have been providing exemplary care with uncompromising compassion in Dearborn County for more than 50+ years. A small animal practice, providing basic care, as well as advanced diagnostic and surgical procedures, state of the art digital radiology , advanced dental care and high-speed equipment, digital dental x-ray, and pain management for cats & dogs.

The Lead Veterinarian serves as the clinical leader of the Hospital. He/She/Them is responsible for the ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practices as well as the delivery of patient care. The Lead Veterinarian works in partnership with the Practice Manager to ensure a high standard of medical case management and to provide an excellent experience for our clients and their pets, as well as carrying a clinical caseload similar to your hospital colleagues.
Qualifications
- Current Indiana License/ability to obtain
- 2+ years of leadership/management experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both with clients and staff.

Job Responsibilities:
- Builds a rapport with clients
- Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, nutritional needs and preventative treatment
- Performs physical exams and diagnostic-surgical-medical and dental procedures that delivers the highest quality care
- Stays current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
- Maintains client-patient medical/surgical records
- Assists in the development of our team to ensure the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree
- Licensure in good standing
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
- Commitment to ongoing educational growth
Salary Information:
