Village East Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinarian team to help shape our future! We are a full-service hospital with a respected reputation and loyal clientele. Our friendly, compassionate veterinary team has been providing friendly, compassionate service to the Evansville community since 1974. We are always looking to improve patient care through technological advances. Our hospital features a fully equipped dental suite, dedicated surgery suite, heated recovery cages and warming IV fluid system, state-of-the-art anesthesia delivery systems, an IDEXX in house lab, and digital radiology. We ensure client satisfaction while securing peace of mind that your pets will be treated as our own.

At Village East, we are looking for a Managing Doctor who looks forward to taking on challenging cases, mentoring new graduates, and collaborating with the veterinary team. The Managing Doctor, or Medical Director, is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. We’re looking for someone who enjoys the responsibility of creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered to keep our community smiling and the tails wagging!

Our ideal candidate has an energetic approach to growing professionally and an interest in specialized areas of veterinary care such as surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, etc. are a plus, but the freedom to pursue your niche in veterinary medicine is encouraged. • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience as a veterinarian (DVM)
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Indiana
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
