The Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Riley Hospital for Children at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics on the tenure track.
The IU School of Medicine Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology provides care for children throughout the Midwest. With comprehensive interdisciplinary disease-focused teams, doctors and staff treat 80 percent of all new pediatric cancer diagnoses in Indiana and see more than 300 new oncology patients each year. More than 13,000 outpatient visits per year focus on leukemias, solid tumors, brain tumors, hematopoietic/stem cell transplant, general hematology, sickle cell disease, bone marrow failure syndromes, hemophilia and other coagulation disorders.

Opportunity for an experienced clinician looking for a leadership opportunity, focused on non-malignant hematology
Responsibilities include: inpatient and outpatient consultation, providing care in the outpatient clinics and inpatient service
Responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the benign hematology care team
The Team Leader of Hematology will recruit, train, and mentor clinical professionals, lead care team to provide team-based patient care and lead the development of evidence-based clinical practice policies
Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics and board eligible/certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Fellowship training required
Ideal candidate will have 10+ years expertise in non-malignant hematologic disorders and leadership interest
